Some games are destined to become instant classics, and the men’s basketball final helped cap the incredible Taipei 2017 Summer Universiade.

We won't spoil the show, but the USA Team from Purdue Men's Basketball came into the game as the undefeated defending champions. They needed everything to sneak into the final, beating Isreal in overtime and then Serbia to advance to the gold medal game.

Lithuania (Lietuvos Studentu Sporto Asociacija), meanwhile, showed a depth and range of talents as it steamrolled into the final battle for World University Games supremacy. Who would come out with the win?
